Art that speaks about what matters
Some stories need more than a wall to hang on. Impact through Art brings artists together around a cause, through exhibitions, open calls, films and stories, so the work reaches the people who need to see it. Each project begins with one artist and one story, and grows with everyone who adds their voice.

04Our next project
Femicide through Art. The artists can stay anonymous. The women will be named.
Led by artist Maria Arvaniti, it uses art, film and exhibitions to remember the women behind the numbers and make femicide impossible to ignore. The open call runs from 1 April to 23 June 2027, with an exhibition in July.

Art has always helped the world listen
Artists have used their work to speak about war, injustice and violence against women, and a single piece can help thousands of people feel what one person lived through. Here, artists can speak freely, without a name if they prefer, and we share their work as they intended it.
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
Have a story that needs to be heard?
Write to us about the subject, the work you have made or would like to make, and why it matters to you. We will talk it through with you and find the right way to share it, anonymously if you prefer.
